NAMI's Education, Training, & Peer Support Programs:

NAMI's education and support programs provide relevant information, valuable insight, and the opportunity to engage in support networks. These programs draw on the lived experience of mental health consumers who have learned to live well with their illnesses and and family members. All have been extensively trained to help others, as well as the expertise of mental health professionals and educators.

Whether you are a consumer, a family member, a faith leader, a member of a local organization, clergy, a member of a congregation, or a local citizen, there is a NAMI education or support program to help you learn more about mental illnesses, develop coping strategies, or find the support you need.

Find out more about the programs offered in your area by calling NAMI-CVA at 804-285-1749 or sending us an email at  [email protected].
